We went to eat here today, I was surprised that there wasn't that many people for a Saturday, so we got to sit wherever we wanted it, the customer service was excellent, the girl that was helping us was really nice, she came a couple times to ask us if everything was ok. The food was delicious, it totally tasted like home cooked. We didn't have to wait too long for our food. Also they have very good prices for their menu..
This place is TINY. Do not go here if you have a large party of 8 or more. I think they can accommodate about 20-25 people. ??
I saw the reviews online and planned a lunch for 10 people. We planned to meet at 11 AM. Well, when we arrived, we saw how small the place was. There was 1 table that could accommodate 4 people.
One of the staff members approached us and said they could accommodate us later. They were really friendly. However, it was over 100 degrees outside and we had to go elsewhere.
FYI, this place cannot reasonable accommodate large groups. When I walked in, it smelled great, but unfortunately, we could not eat anything.
Looking for Mexican breakfast on Google Maps, we found this restaurant. The reviews were positive so we decided to give it a try.
We were not disappointed!
It is a small place, not fancy but full of good vibes and great service.
Marena greeted us upon arrival and let us choose where to sit. We ordered 2 coffees right away and they promptly came, in a big mug and with the notice from Marena that she was already making more, just in case we wanted some.
Glancing over the menu I quickly spotted some Huevos Rancheros and decided on them. My wife went with the Chilaquiles w/Chicken.
Both were great!!! The refried beans w/pork were both a first for us and a very tasty complement to both dishes. My wife Chilaquiles were awesome, not smothered in sauce like other places, crispy and tasty as well as the chicken in them.
A very good first time in this restaurant. Marena’s service was attentive and courteous and we will most definitely be back to try some other dishes.
Thank you!
i have been wanting to try this place and i was not disappointing! the menu offers sushi as well and i have yet to try it. i had the carne asada burrito and the gorditas. the food tasted like it was homemade and it was well seasoned. the soup was different but interesting. the service time was pretty long so my rating reflects that but i am totally willing to give it another try based on the food which is like the most important! RECOMMEND!
Food was very great, and a cozy atmosphere. My tortilla soup was light and tastey. We decided to ask if they had margaritas. There was a hesitation, but our waitress said yes. We ordered and it was nice. Tiny though for 6.50. A great place for the food.
Ok I used to love this place, but now the hours are so inconsistent that we've decided we're not coming back. It's good food, but expensive. And don't count on what Google says their hours are because they don't ever open at 9. We came at 10 on a Tuesday and said they weren't open. It's not worth wasting my lunch hour for. We love to support small businesses and family run but if they can't even be consistent on when they're open they lose our business.
It’s always been our go to for chilaquiles. They down sized a while back so tables are limited but worth the wait.
The food is amazing! The pork refried beans are so flavourful! I love the enchiladas and red sauce! Yummy!
